Jacksonville, FL October 1, 2012 – Urban Jazz Pianist Elisha “Atlas” Parris makes another huge splash in the jazz pool with two new singles from his live recording entitled “LIVE @  PEInc Underground”.  The live project, recorded in June 2012, marks the second solo album release from this award-winning musician.  Elisha is best known for his work as Music Director for the Stellar Award winning Jazz duo, Allen and Allen, as primary writer, composer and keyboardist for the chart-topping jazz group Segue, and for his performances in major jazz festivals nationwide.

“I just want to make music…I couldn’t imagine life without it”, said the pianist, whose single GOT TO GIVE IT UP – a funky jazz rendition of the 1968 soul classic by Marvin Gaye,  will be available for download on  October 2, 2012.  As a ‘thank you’ to loyal fans and supporters, the artist and his record label, which he founded, will also be giving away a free download of another single from the upcoming album entitled “PEOPLE MAKE THE WORLD GO ‘ROUND.  The free track will be available from the PEInc Twitter page (@Peinc).  “It’s a Tweet-For-A-Track promotion” says the label’s marketing director, “available to all our Twitter fans world-wide.”

In addition to the live project being released in the first quarter of 2013, Elisha’s other jazz recordings include AtLast! (2010), Pretty Smile – Single (2011), and TELL YA IN A SECOND – Segue (2000). Elisha also has numerous production credits to his name, including Celestial (Celestial), Chris Williams (I’ll Be Alright), Brent Brown (New Thang), and PEInc Gospel artist Dontavies Boatwright (Glory To Glory).

After three days of LIVE recording in June at PEInc Underground in Jacksonville, Florida, Urban Jazz Pianist Elisha "Atlas" Parris' new release will be available before he goes on tour in July! 

The LIVE recording, which featured the pianist on a Yamaha Grand Piano, also featured guest musicians Ricardo Brown on flute, Richard Sherrington on trombone, and Terry "Doc" Handy on percussion along with others.  It is a signature blend of Elisha's unique style, combining the straight-ahead jazz class and structure with the rhythmic feel and style of soul music... Urban Jazz!

Elisha is currently still booking dates for his CD release tour in late July.  He will be in Philadelphia, New York, and Columbia!

Elisha will playing for recording artist, Celestial's two CD release parties planned in September.

Elisha set to release a new single, "Pretty Smile" this summer. Pretty Smile will be the keyboardist's first single since his 2010 album, "Atlast".   The song's blend of R&B, Soul and Jazz is indicative of Elisha's unique style. Pretty Smile will be available for digital download worldwide.
