This prodigy has been playing drums for nearly 12 years...and at just 16 years old, that's over half his life!
Elisha 'Doogie' Parris is the son of Elisha 'Atlas' Parris. While idolizing the musical genius of his father, Doogie is already making waves of his own as lead drummer of A'JaZE. Along with his multiple stage and recording credits, Doogie is also a very talented composer.
Make no mistake, he is still the all American teenager with an avid love of sports and video games.
Al Reshard started playing bass as a result of having to escort his sister to her events at the High School of Music and Art...which produced Jazz greats Marcus Miller, Kenny Washington, Omar Hakim, and many more! After witnessing Al McDowell on bass at a concert, Al knew he’d found his calling! Primarily self taught, Mr. Reshard has collaborated with dozens of amazing bassists, to include John Patitucci, Marcus Miler, Victor Wooten, and his very own son, Jon Reshard!
In 1998 with the help of Elisha Parris, Clay Benjamin, Scott Rademacher, Corey Johnson, and Eric Mason, Al formed Segue and in 2000 the band released “Tell Ya in a Second”, opening for Keiko Matsui, The YellowJackets, Joshua Redman, Steve Reeves, Boney James and Norman Brown.
